Employment Status of SC and ST Women in India

In the past few decades, SCs and STs have faced social exclusion discrimination in society accessing various opportunities due to their low status. They also very limited access employment caste barriers. Women these two groups face a double disadvantage lower status compared males stigma attached them as belonging deprived section. Regarding occupational status, they position males. this context, paper presents Women's Indian by analysing annual PLFS report for 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21. The study found extreme gender inequality among STs. Findings show that comparison Men, women participation resources. This research critically analyses some policies programmes disadvantaged reflects on of suggestive measures.
